I removed the paragraph related to Amazon S3 deployment from Wercker; I was unable to find any documentation on the Wercker site. This is not surprising. Wercker was acquired by Oracle in 2017, and I suspect Oracle has little interest in promoting any of Amazon's services.

heya - good question! I'd thought about this. As IE10's marketshare is really, really tiny (0.02% - compared to IE11's 1.38%) I decided not to include IE10 fixes in this project.

As you mentioned, IE10 requires prefixes for flexbox which would increase the size of the CSS. I do think I'll add a section to the README Faqs with a list of things to fix if users do want to add support themselves. The CSS would be something like this:

Thanks - Yes, I'm well aware the IE11 support timeline - and I know some developers are choosing to not support it. I'm not sure how relevant that is in regards to this issue/suggestion though. In the 'Working with SVGs' section there is already a note about fixing focus handling for Internet Explorer by adding focusable="false" - I'm just suggesting adding a note and a link to a fix.

Me again :) Have a look at this codpen, the td elements take on the data-theme=dark style despite the attribute being removed from the body.

ah, your CSS is a bit wrong it should be:

[data-theme="dark"] td {
    color: black;
} 

so you need to define [data-theme="dark"] for each rule you want it applied to.

Hello, firstly, thanks for sharing the project, it is nice, lightweight, and works well. I do have one issue however. I am trying to apply dark-mode styles directly to the body tag and this doesn't seem to work. You can see from my screenshots, that I am able to make the text inside .content red, but when trying to change the gradient to white on the body, I see no changes. I could imagine that this has something to do with the fact that the data-theme attribute is set on the body and then it maybe isn't possible to use in this way. If this is the case, do you know of a workaround? Any help is greatly appreciated.

ah, I figured it. :-) To apply the styles to the body you just need:

[data-theme=dark]  {
  background-image: white;
}

The above will apply to the body as the body tag is the element with [data-theme=dark]. just tested working with CodePen.

heya- I'd be happy to help out on this but can you please put together a reduced test case on Codepen or similar for me to look into it? Also, I think the rule defining the background body gradient should really be 'background-image' rather than the shorthand 'background'.

Also, make sure you don't use the dark-mode/css provided in this repo - if you're setting your own styles. If you have the background-color: #111 !important; will be over-riding it!
