SDCICD-80. Remove 4.1 osde2e jobs, add in initial 4.3 osde2e jobs. Since 4.1 cluster image sets are no longer being generated for OSD, the 4.1 jobs have been excised and new 4.3 jobs have been added for the integration environment, as these are the only 4.3 artifacts that are currently around for testing.

Revert "fast-datapath-beta: disable repos by default" This reverts commit 2a2f5f0fbd78e9a147ac10126bb9812dc5393716. Turns out this actually has no effect; or for whatever reason the repos remain enabled anyway. Plus, ART builds don't allow enabling/disabling repos, so we can't enable a repo that's been disabled for ART builds anyway.

Make Tripleo based zuul jobs non-blocking on libpod PRs TripleO, an Openstack deployment tool is one of the consumer of podman to run OpenStack services in container. In order to avoid breakage due to podman releases, TripleO based Zuul jobs are getting added. But libpod PRs are getting blocked due to zuul jobs failure. Add ImagePullSecret back into older worker cs This was removed in v10, but older clusters still need it. This part of the code is heavily depended on by versioned code, but has not been versioned. This has lead to a bug when scaling older clusters.

Reduce journal rotation and restart fluentd once a day This aims to resolve the issue of fluentd exhausting its open file descriptors on boxes where logs rotate a lot. Fluentd's official recommendation is to increase the file descriptor limit (https://docs.fluentd.org/installation/before-install#increase-max-of-file-descriptors) but a tactical restart seems saner.

SetupProject has a deferred call to the function in the variable named "cancel", which is initialized to a no-op function with the expectation that subsequent statements may assign another function to the variable. However, because defer statements evaluate their expressions immediately, what is actually deferred is a call to the initial value of the "cancel" variable (i.e., the no-op function). To defer a call to whatever is in the "cancel" variable when the deferred statement is executed, an anonymous function that calls the cancel function must be used, so that the variable is closed over at the point of the defer statement and only evaluated when the deferred statement is executed. * test/extended/util/client.go (SetupProject): Replace deferred call to cancel with a deferred call to an anonymous function that calls cancel.

kubeadm: add test to detect panics when given certain feature gates This integration test allows us to detect if a given feature gate will panic kubeadm. This builds on the assumption that a golang panic makes the process exit with the code 2. These tests are not trying to check if the init process succeeds or not, their only purpose is to ensure that the exit code of the `kubeadm init` invocation is not 2, thus, reflecting a golang panic. Some refactors had to be made to the test code, so we return the exit code along with stdout and stderr.

e2e log: fix full stacktrace with Ginkgo 1.10.0 Ginkgo 1.10.0 includes the relevant fix for dumping the full stack (https://github.com/onsi/ginkgo/pull/590), so when using that release we can simplify the logging unit test. By changing the skipping, we can avoid the rather volatile util.go entries. However, that gomega is part of the stack trace still needs to be fixed in Gingko.

e2e log: consistent logging of stack backtrace and failure, part II After merging https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/commit/259bb3bef5403daec1bbe44c2c9413ec17b52b6e#diff-eb7b79470992813ea1905e96c298b47b ExpectEqual and some of the other wrappers logged the failure twice, once inside the wrapper itself and once in the failure handler. Logging the stack backtrace is useful because many assertions still don't contain an explanation and therefore knowing where they occur is crucial. Now all failures are logged with a "Full Stack Trace", not just those with a wrapper. The stack is pruned to skip over wrapper functions and removes Ginkgo internal functions to keep the stack trace smaller. Failures occuring in the wrappers were recorded as occuring in those wrappers. Now the wrappers are skipped and the caller is recorded instead. The full stack trace recorded by Ginkgo 1.10.0 is currently off by one entry. This needs to be fixed in Ginkgo, then the test can be updated.

I think xhyve is known broken eg it has been removed in minikube kubernetes/minikube#4291 and the minishift docs probably need to be updated to reflect that.
Can you try using minikube start --vm-driver=virtualbox rather than xhyve.

Enable DNS Lookups for CIFS Volumes This comes from an old suggestion (https://github.com/docker/cli/issues/706#issuecomment-371157691) on an issue we were having and has since popped up again. For NFS volumes, Docker will do an IP lookup on the volume name. This is not done for CIFS volumes, which forces you to add the volume via IP address instead. profiles/seccomp: improve profile conversion When translating seccomp profile to opencontainers format, a single group with multiple syscalls is converted to individual syscall rules. I am not sure why it is done that way, but suspect it might have performance implications as the number of rules grows. Change this to pass a groups of syscalls as a group. LCOW: fix using wrong shell for healthchecks As reported in docker/compose#6445, when deploying a Linux container on Windows (LCOW), the daemon made the wrong assumption when deciding which shell to use to execute the healthcheck, looking at the host's platform instead of the container's platform. kubeadm: support any kernel version newer than 3.10 It seems undesirable that Kubernetes as a system should be blocking a node if it's Linux kernel is way too new. If such a problem even occurs we should exclude versions from the list of supported versions instead of blocking users from trying e.g. the latest 7.0.0-beta kernel because our validators are not aware of this new version.
