Druid's "quit" example shows this behaviour already (while slightly differently):

Can you reproduce this at all? I am asking because i wonder whether this is a localisation issue. I am on a German MacOS and i see Druid has a German localisation file but i see the English texts instead. Maybe this is related?

Thanks. As noted in the referenced thread, they should be under the Edit menu.

Cross-platform menu issues (for Runebender)
Regarding the application menu on Mac: wxWidgets and Qt seem to do the right thing for the developer. I am not familiar with either of them. wxWidgets seems to identify the menu entries by name or by ID: https://wiki.wxwidgets.org/WxMac-specific_topics#Special_Menu_Items

Another thing is that it should be "runebender" instead of "Druid" obviously.

they are not included in the Edit menu, which I believe is where they should be.
Indeed, you're right about this.

Not sure whether it fits here, but on Mac the "Quit" enter should be the last entry. While on Mac Rundender it is the 3rd last.

I'm currently leaning towards the JSON data file plus generation code to make the actual README.
I'v experimented with this in the beginning. This has a lot of advantages. The biggest two downsides are:
- it's less straightforward/harder/more unpleasant for people to contribute.
- there needs to be a generation step running somewhere at the right time. With GitHub actions this might be easier nowadays, i don't know.

Hi,
So, I'm feeling a bit burnout on this project
I am sorry to hear that. But I can relate to this very much.
Regarding:
- Quality of projects to link to: i am all for quality over quantity. This is a quite subjective and difficult topic. Especially when it comes to inactive but important projects.
- Quality control: i've always felt that a cleanup script is necessary to enforce a common style (to fix ordering, whitespace, dashes etc.).
Thanks for your work so far.
To be honest, i don't plan to invest much time in this project anymore. Maybe it's time to look for maintainers again or let it be?
