Hi guys, ran into a pretty urgent issue I really need to be able to access this database and I believe it has been corrupted.

Running KeePassXC on macOS High Sierra, my kbdx and key file are stored on a USB and I run the application from my Mac.

Everything was working fine, I use autosave on my KeePass, I quit the application, then I ejected my USB, plugged it into my Samsung Note8 to use it with an Andriod KeePass app, however unplugged it before using the file with the app to charge my phone.

Now on my Macbook whenever I try to open the database I get the error "Unable to open the database. No root group." Attempting to repair the database via KeePassXC yields the same response.

Upon trying to open the database from the Andriod app 'KeePass2Andriod Offline', it yields the error "An error occured: Exception of type 'KeePassLib.Serialization.InvalidDataException' was thrown".

There is nothing we can do. You can try extracting the database using the cli tool: keepassxc-cli extract [db file]
