New installation gives "KeyError: 'preferred'" on run

Still not sure what would be causing it. Since most people don't ever log in as root, could you do a reinstall as the default user pi instead? So completely log out of the pi and log in again as just the regular old pi user.

also, it appears you're logged into your pi as root? if that's the case, you shouldn't need the sudo.

Ahhh. I missed the led-chain. Sorry about that. Would you be able to just completely delete the mlb-led-scoreboard directory and reclone/reinstall again?

Config looks fine. Not sure why the specific error you're getting would be happening. I'm curious about why you're defining a 64x32 LED array in the command options but the script is detecting you have a 128x32.

293/fix broken standings

+import requests+import re++class Standings:+    __URL = 'https://statsapi.mlb.com/api/v1/standings?season={year}&leagueId=103,104&date={month:0>2}/{day:0>2}/{year}&division=all'

What we'd rather see is something like LeagueID_NL = 103 and LeagueID_AL = 104 ... or whichever ID actually means which league. The fact that we don't know is the best reason to break them out into descriptive constants.

Can you get rid of the comments here? The if check appears redundant anyways so just scrap it.

MLB XML API deprecation

There was work being done last year to kind of get our own mlbgame library running using the json API. I haven't had a lot of time lately to take a look but I'll try and see what's working and what still needs work. The idea is to ultimately ditch the mlbgame library in favor of one that supports the json API. Just a question of if we have to write it ourselves or not.
