Export Web Map fails is print service task is not named 'Export Web Map Task'

Describe the bug If the print service has a task with name other than 'Export Web Map Task' arcgis.mapping.export_map fails with a bad URL message.

To Reproduce publish a print service with a task name other than 'Export Web Map Task' (ensuring the other name is not the same length.

in _utils.py the code to get the URL of the print service to use for printing is as follows:

    url = gis.properties.helperServices.printTask.url[:-len('/Export%20Web%20Map%20Task')]

... _use_async, url) File "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\ArcGIS\bin\Python\envs\docxtpl-arcgispro-py3\Lib\site-packages\arcgis\geoprocessing_support.py", line 360, in _execute_gp_tool resp = gptool._con.post(exec_url, gp_params, token=gptool._token) File "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\ArcGIS\bin\Python\envs\docxtpl-arcgispro-py3\Lib\site-packages\arcgis_impl\connection.py", line 1177, in post self._handle_json_error(resp_json['error'], errorcode) File "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\ArcGIS\bin\Python\envs\docxtpl-arcgispro-py3\Lib\site-packages\arcgis_impl\connection.py", line 1198, in _handle_json_error raise RuntimeError(errormessage) RuntimeError: Invalid URL (Error Code: 400)

**Expected behavior**
If the point is to get the service URL from the task name, then there are better ways in python that do not depend on the specific name of the task. Just drop everything after and including the last /.

Failed to remove task/execute task

oh wait, are you trying to make postgresql the database where harvester stores the brokers/task information? That is an untested configuration. I thought you were trying harvest from PostgreSQL.

Failed to remove task/execute task

do you get messages in the harvester log when trying to remove the task? or else in the browser console/network responses?

Harvest from localhost fails

check your logging.properties found in ...\harvester\WEB-INF\classes. This includes a line similar to the below:

org.apache.juli.FileHandler.directory = C:/data/logs

this sets the location of the log output

you will also see line or end of line like .level = ERROR. This sets the level of detail of logging. Since we're using Juli for logging, see the Tomcat docs for valid levels: https://docs.progress.com/bundle/pas-for-openedge-administration-117/page/Tomcat-logging.html

WARN [org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionReader] - Ignored XML validation warning org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'http://www.springframework.org/schema/security/spring-security.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not xsd:schema

hi, in XML files such as the the geoportal configuration files, metadata definitions, etc, you may see references to schemaLocation such as this:

xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd
    http://www.springframework.org/schema/context http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context.xsd"

these are pairs of namespace and location of the xsd for that namespace. In the above the namespace

http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans

is defined in XML schema:

http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd

If your deployment of geoportal is on a disconnected environment, the schema location cannot be resolved leading to the error. You have 2 options to handle this. One is to remove all xsi:schemaLocation attributes from the XML configuration files. An alternative is to download the schema definitions (.xsd) and all dependencies of those locally.

this also applies to metadata styles that reference the XML schema definitions (for example applies to ISO metadata).

Embed ISO19110 into ISO19115 (without linkage)

Can I embed ISO19110 into ISO19115, without linking to it using a gmd:linkagegmd:URL tag? Is ISO19115-3.2018 supported? It seems that it is not possible to upload XML from the Walloon government's Metawal. Is an ISO19110 Editor available?

Embed ISO19110 into ISO19115 (without linkage)

closing as geoportal 2.6.5 (newly released!) now includes ISO 19115-3 and embedded ISO 19110 in the available types. You can include this in an existing install by copying the type to the install: https://github.com/Esri/geoportal-server-catalog/tree/master/metadata-editor/app/gxe/types/iso-19115-3
