Ardis login via SPID

Thank you, Fabio! Btw, for a fully online SPID process (no need to go to Poste, your identity can be validated with a Facebook or WhatsApp call, or with you CIE via an app), I suggest SIELTE. It's one of the few with the top-level SPID authentication, together with Poste. Comparison between providers here: https://www.spid.gov.it/cos-e-spid/come-scegliere-tra-gli-idp/ (English: https://www.spid.gov.it/en/what-is-spid/how-to-choose-between-digital-identity-providers/ )

Add TB frequency

I should add the CPU TB frequency on both old and new nodes.

  • Old CPUs: Xeon E5-2680 v2 —> 2.80 – 3.60 GHz
  • New CPUs: Xeon E5-2683 v4 —> 2.10 – 3.00 GHz

Detailed comparison: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/compare.html?productIds=75277,91766

Maybe I could also link the CPUs to their detailed description on Intel Ark.

Added dependency chapter

Thanks @DavideTisi! 🙂

There is a warning on the first code block (guess it's best to leave an empty line), but I'm going to merge anyway and fix it later.

It's a fault on my side for not having provided instructions on how to locally build the documentation, and for the absence of a CI workflow that automatically builds the HTML docs for each PR, in order to check. I've now put some instructions in the README and I've also set up a CI workflow, so that the next contributions will be automatically built and made available as downloads for inspection.

2.8.1, BigSur, M1 - constantly crashing

@john-preston thank you a lot, it seems to be working correctly — at least up to now. With the previous version, there were crashes even after reading just a couple of messages after a fresh start. Nothing like that happened so far. 🎆

2.8.1, BigSur, M1 - constantly crashing

@john-preston @xpahos I'm on an Intel CPU (mid-2017 mpb 15), on Mojave, so I'm not sure whether it's really related to M1 + Big Sur...

I've sent a crash report, then it crashed again while viewing said crash report. 😅

Sent that one as well. (btw: I'm on MacOS Mojave)
