Merge pull request #2 from marcograss/master implemented progress bars

commit sha 04ac2e8b63a8c89ca383a725baa2d1b67f2efccd

Updated dependencies and a few small fixes. Multibar output now directed to stderr by default. Set the refresh rate to 100ms instead of the default, which seemed much too fast. Also reformatted the code. Seemed to change a few things since last time. Revved version.

fix a typo, and remove all unnecessary semicolumns in Python

<!--- Provide a general summary of your changes in the Title above -->

Description

<!--- Describe your changes in detail -->

This simple PR fixes a typo I found while reading Lean source code.

Also I noticed the widespread use of semicolumns in python, which are not only ignored, but they are also a bad practice and coding style.

So I (painfully) removed all of them.

Related Issue

<!--- This project only accepts pull requests related to open issues --> <!--- If suggesting a new feature or change, please discuss it in an issue first --> <!--- If fixing a bug, there should be an issue describing it with steps to reproduce --> <!--- Please link to the issue here: -->

Motivation and Context

<!--- Why is this change required? What problem does it solve? -->

Cosmetic changes, a typo and code quality.

Requires Documentation Change

<!--- Please indicate if these changes will require updates to documentation, and if so, specify what changes are required -->

Not required

How Has This Been Tested?

<!--- Please describe in detail how you tested your changes. --> <!--- Include details of your testing environment, and the tests you ran to --> <!--- see how your change affects other areas of the code, etc. -->

I run the CI tests.

Algorithms using Quandl data don't work anymore

<!--- This template provides sections for bugs and features. Please delete any irrelevant sections before submitting -->

Expected Behavior

<!--- Required. Describe the behavior you expect to see for your case. --> We should be able to use data from Quandl like before.

Actual Behavior

<!--- Required. Describe the actual behavior for your case. --> Any backtest with quandl data gives the following error. During the algorithm initialization, the following exception has occurred: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Potential Solution

<!--- Optional. Describe any potential solutions and/or thoughts as to what may be causing the difference between expected and actual behavior. --> Maybe the recent changes introduced this regression. After fixing it would be better to add a regression test for this issue.

Reproducing the Problem

<!--- Required for Bugs. Describe how to reproduce the problem. This can be via a failing unit test or a simplified algorithm that reliably demonstrates this issue. -->

Run ANY backtest in the cloud using Quandl, for example https://github.com/QuantConnect/Lean/blob/master/Algorithm.Python/QuandlImporterAlgorithm.py the very basic QuandlImporterAlgorithm.py

You will get the error I mentioned before.

System Information

<!--- Required for Bugs. Include any system specific information, such as OS. -->

<!--- Confirm that you've provided all the required information. --> <!--- Required fields --->

  • [x] I have completely filled out this template
