G3log is an asynchronous, "crash safe", logger that is easy to use with default logging sinks or you can add your own. G3log is made with plain C++14 (C++11 support up to release 1.3.2) with no external libraries (except gtest used for unit tests). G3log is made to be cross-platform, currently running on OSX, Windows and several Linux distros. See Readme below for details of usage.

PR opened alasconnect/ldap-client

add openFromConnection to expose Connection

On the project I work on, I need to connect to a LDAP server to fetch data but I have a socket as an input. This is not possible currently with ldap-client as the library takes care of handling the socket behind the scene.

This PR adds a new function openFromConnection which allows to initialize a LdapH handle with an already established Connection.

The naming mimic what is done in the connection library for the functions: connectFromHandle and connectFromSocket.

Motivation for this change

Ok np. I can workaround without it for the packaging.

I'll add myself as the maintainer of the NixOS package. Would you be interested to be added as well ?

add Cargo.lock file

Please consider adding the Cargo.lock file as recommended in the Cargo Book.

I'd also like to package this tool for NixOS and this file is needed as well for better reproducibility. More info about this here.
