commit sha feb3128c8a270a8549bfb33c399e9baadc752341

Fix for continuously printing the stack trace in dmesg logs Problem: When vrouter processing the GRO packet with UDP traffic observed the stack trace printing in dmesg logs. Fix : When vrouter receiving the GRO packet, It will send those packets to linux code. As per the stack trace, issue happened with linux code when skb->ip_summed value is CHECKSUM_COMPLETE for UDP traffic with Mellanox card. Mellanox card by default will support the checksum complete so ip_summed value is always CHECKSUM_COMPLETE. Intel card will have CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY by default. So before queuing the GRO packet, set the ip_summed value as CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY to avoid those unnecessary stack trace prints in dmesg logs. Linux code snippet: File: net/core/dev.c Function:__skb_gro_checksum_complete() Code: if (likely(!sum)) { if (unlikely(skb->ip_summed == CHECKSUM_COMPLETE) && !skb->csum_complete_sw) netdev_rx_csum_fault(skb->dev, skb); } void netdev_rx_csum_fault(struct net_device *dev, struct sk_buff *skb) { if (net_ratelimit()) { pr_err("%s: hw csum failure\n", dev ? dev->name : "<unknown>"); skb_dump(KERN_ERR, skb, true); dump_stack(); } } Testing: Run the below tests.
